Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

1.       Articulate a theologically grounded understanding of Catholic faith, drawing on Scripture, Tradition, and key Church documents, and apply it meaningfully to their professional context as educators or leaders.

2.       Analyze faith development across the human lifespan using frameworks such as Fowler's stages and the Church's catechetical tradition, and respond appropriately to the needs of learners or communities in their care.

3.       Engage critically with the contemporary cultural landscape — including secularization and shifting religious identity — and articulate a coherent Catholic response through the lens of missionary discipleship.

4.       Design and facilitate faith formation experiences (Pedagogy) or institutional structures and processes (Leadership) that integrate theological vision with sound pedagogical or organizational practice, drawing on Groome's Shared Christian Praxis.

5.       Reflect critically on their own vocation as a Catholic educator or leader, demonstrating growth in personal faith identity and professional formation throughout the course.
